B. Political Science
Joining Rachlin Partners in 2001, Larry joined the firm to oversee the accounting procedures. In addition, he was active in contributing to our marketing and business-development agenda. Larry has since risen to the position of Controller, managing the firm’s financial affairs.
Prior to Rachlin, Larry was head of accounting for Robert L. Earl, AIA & Associates, an architectural firm known for its design and construction administration of exclusive, multi-million-dollar custom homes.
Larry attended the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), majoring in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations. By auditing graduate courses at UCLA’s School of Business, he fashioned his own customized minor in Accounting and Business Administration, which serves him well in his current position.
In what Larry calls "another life," he was a child actor. IMDB credits Larry as having worked alongside such Hollywood legends as Jimmy Stewart, Maureen O’Hara, Marlon Brando, Barbara Stanwyck, and, most notably, Elvis Presley. At the age of eight, Larry starred with the King playing his character’s agent/manager in Paramount Pictures’ Fun in Acapulco (1963)..
Today, Larry’s passions are all about cars and the Porsche Club of America (PCA). He is a former Vice President and Newsletter Editor of his PCA Region. As such, odds are high that you’ll find him on the weekends carving the curves up and down twisty mountain roads along with his fellow club devotees.
